앙페르의 오른나사 법칙

1. 도선에 흐르는 전류

도선에 전류(I)가 흐르면 다음 그림과 같이 자기장이 생성된다. 

전류(I)와 자기장(B)의 방향을 오른손을 이용하여 표현하면
엄지 - 전류의 방향 
4손가락 - 자기장의 회전 방향

엄지척!! 참 쉽죠? 오른손을 사용해서 오른나사 법칙

전류의 방향이 바뀌면 자기장의 방향은 반대로 바뀝니다.

오른손을 사용하여 전류와 자기장의 방향을 확인해 보세요.

문제1) 다음 기호의 전류 방향은? (자기력선 방향을 참고하여 오른손을 사용해 보세요.)

2. 코일에 흐르는 전류


임의의 한 점에서 생성되는 자계는 다음 그림과 같다. 아래방향으로 전류가 흐르므로 시계방향의 자계가 생성된다.


 각각의 점에서 생성되는 자계를 위에서 보면

 

다음 그림처럼 회전하는 자계가 코일의 내부와 외부에 걸쳐 발생하게 된다.

 자계를 합성해서 그리면

 자계의 방향은 코일 내부의 방향이므로, 전류에 의한 코일의 자계 방향은 다음과 같다.


오른손 법칙을 적용하기 - 오른손을 파란점에 위치 시키고 전류의 방향을 일치시킨다. 코일 내부의 자계 방향이 코일의 자계 방향이다. (합성된 자계그림을 생각하자!)

문제2) A,B,C,D 코일의 자계방향은?

*앙페르(프랑스어: André-Marie Ampère)는 프랑스의 물리학자 이름이다. 전기에서 사용하는 전류단위 암페어는 앙페르의 이름에서 온 것이다.

다음 그림과 같이 자계의 방향을 설명하기도 하지만....

엄지 - 자기장의 방향 , 4손가락 - 전류의 방향이다.

쉽게 보이긴 하는데 문제2에 적용시켜보자. 

(도선의 감는 방향과 전류의 방향에 따라 헷갈린다.--;)
